Tommy James Mannausa has written 61 songs.  These beautifully written lyrics are contained within a private collection.  Carol Ann Mannausa, Tommy's Mom, persuaded him to start playing the piano in the second grade.  His music teachers were at first undecided about his talents, then in time they became intrigued by his hard work ethic.  Tommy worked hard to master the artful language of music...he evolved fluency then developed further into creative.  Now with a mastered ability to understand and to improvise complex arrangements, his talent completes the foundation and emotional hookup for his crowd pleasing songs and lyrics.

Tommy loved the learning process with such musical tutors like
Robert Sargent of Lansing, Michigan and Michigan State
University's Music Department.  Tommy started writing lyrics in
1979 and his friends, fans and musical associates urge and demand that he continue to pursue his artistic output more strongly even now.

Tommy James has entered into a recording contract with Rick Derringer.  Rick Derringer and his musical attributes can be enjoyed on www.rickderringer.com.  Rick Derringer and Tommy James Mannausa's contract includes 10 exciting, new songs written by Tommy that reflect his deeply lived Rock and Roll spirit. These two talents, including Rick's fellow band members, are currently working in their studio located at Panda Productions in Clearwater, Florida.  So far, they have finished and mixed three of the songs.

Their mutual CD has Rick Derringer as Producer and Tommy James Mannausa as Executive Producer.  The lyrics were written by Tommy James Mannausa, Jenda and Rick Derringer.  The CD is planned for release late in 2009.  It includes songs like "Hit Me", "Time Keepers", "Top Dancin" and more.

The songs will reflect a free wheeling attitude of rock and roll music, hard driving dance music and the high voltage tracks of Rick Derringer's guitar foundations and solos.
